 About the Stafford Showground Toy Fair

A Great Fair in the West MidlandsModel railways can be found on many of the tables at Stafford

More and more dealers and collectors are discovering that the Stafford Toy Fair is a great place to buy and sell toys, trains and models.

The fair takes place in two halls, The Prestwood Hall and the adjoining Argyle Hall. The number of stalls at the show has been increasing year on year and visitors to the Stafford fair can now enjoy between 230 and 280 tables of collectables at each show.

Regular dealers at Stafford include Peter Woods Antique Toys, Penketh Model Railway Centre, Be Joyful Bears, Modelfair, K & M Models, Mersey Collectables, Woodman Display Cabinets, Loughborough Model Centre, JG Collectables and The British Toy Soldier Company.

Local dealers Staffordshire Jinny are at each fair with a huge range of new and second-hand model railway locomotives and accessories. Wrenn Railways, Hornby, Lima, Bachmann and Dapol are just some of the makes of locomotives and rolling stock they sell.

The Toy Emporium from Bridgnorth sell a selection of quality Spot On, Corgi and Dinky Toys from the 1960s and 70s as well as current limited edition Steiff animals.

Richard Taylor of H & D Toys brings a varied range of Hornbyand Bassett-Lowke 0 gauge trains and Mamod steam engines with him to each Stafford show.

Many of the UKs leading toy and model dealers now trade at the show and visitors can expect to find a huge range of new and old collectables for sale at each fair. There are models for sale at prices to suit all pockets.

Amongst the items on the stalls are model railways in N, 0 and 00 gauges, new and obsolete diecast models by Corgi, Minichamps, Maisto, Sunstar, Tekno, Dinky etc. Scalextric, dolls and teddy bears, books, games, Lego, jigsaws and much, much more.

The venue has excellent facilities including free parking for thousands of cars, and a well stocked cafe serving hot and cold drinks and snacks throughout the day.

Both halls are fully heated, with excellent lighting and flat unloading through numerous doors around the walls for traders.

Exhibitor Badges and a confirmation letter containing full details about the event will be sent to all exhibitors ten days before each fair.

 Directions
Stafford County Showground is situated just outside the town on the A518 Stafford to Uttoxeter road.

Leave the M6 at junction 14 and follow signs for Stafford County Showground.

There is free parking for thousands of cars in the showground's on-site car parks
