Date Changes for Reebok Stadium, Bolton Toy Fairs


The dates for the Reebok Stadium Toy Fairs this year have changed.

Sky TV has scheduled Bolton Wanderers football matches to be played at the stadium,
so the remaining toy fairs this year are now:

Sunday 19th September

Sunday 28th November

Wednesday 29th December


Each fair will feature 300 stalls of collectables and start at 10.30am as usual.

Star Wars fans can find plenty of great value collectables at the Reebok The BIG ONE in the North West

The Reebok Stadium Toy Fair is a great place to buy or sell toys, trains and models.

There are 300 tables of toys, and collectables at each event, with top dealers travelling from all over the UK to take stalls at the show.

John Littlewood (pictured here) brings with him a huge range of diecast model cars, lorries and buses by Corgi, Tekno, Minichamps, EFE, Lledo and Sunstar to each Reebok Stadium Toy Fair.

Penketh Model Railway Centre fill their stalls at the Reebok with a huge range of new and second-hand 00 gauge model railways by Hornby, Lima and Bachmann and are always keen to take your old trains in as part exchange.

Diecast models are always popular at any toy show and at this fair there is always a huge number of models on display. Much Ado About Toys from Stratford Upon Avon always have the latest releases from Corgi on their stand. Dalesman Diecasts, Motor Models, Collectors Toyshop of Halifax, John Walsh, DMB Models, and Marble Apple Models are just some of the traders selling diecast models at the Reebok Stadium.

Simon Goodyear of Train Time from Huddersfield has been selling 0 and 00 gauge vintage toy trains for over 30 years and is a regular trader at the Reebok. Hornby, Bassett-Lowke, Leeds Model Centre, Marklin and Bing are just some of the makes of early tinplate trains that Simon deals in.

There are a number of stalls selling Dolls and Teddy Bears at each fair. Dealers at the Reebok include Mary Shortle of York selling dolls and The Toy Emporium of Bridgnorth selling Steiff limited edition collectable bears.

Tekno diecast models lorries for sale at the Christmas event Tiger Hobbies specialise in military models and always have a stall piled high with Dragon Dolls and their accessories as well as aeroplanes and radio controlled tanks.
There are hundreds of other collectables for sale at the Reebok Stadium, including new and second hand model railways in N, OO and O gauges, Scalextric, Disneyana, books, videos, Dragon Dolls, board games, Lego, Sci-Fi and TV related toys and models, collectors cabinets, trading cards, model tractors, tinplate toys and lead figures.

The Reebok Stadium is the home of Bolton Wanderers Football Club. The Premier Suite within the stadium is an ideal venue for a large collectors fair. Access from the motorway network could not be easier, the stadium is just 500 yards from the M61. Unloading is flat and parking is free.

The Premier Suite also offers a luxury on site hotel, De Vere Whites, as well as hot and cold refreshments. There is a cash machine conveniently located right outside the entrance doors to the fair.

The Middlebrook Retail Park, a very large shopping and leisure facility with many shops, a cinema and restaurants etc. is situated right next to the stadium.

 Directions
The Reebok Stadium is only 500 yards from junction 6 of the M61 Motorway. The stadium offers free parking for thousands of cars.

Horwich Parkway Railway Station (which has regular trains to and from Manchester Picadilly Station) is just 200 yards from the stadium.
